Da Katj is an artisan fresh pasta workshop founded in Pesaro in 1997. From a small family shop, the company has grown over the years and currently has two shops offering genuine local products: fresh pasta, sauces, baked goods, gourmet products. In 2020, Da Katj launched a project to restyle its shops and redesign its digital presence.
A website designed with all the ingredients of Katj’s culinary philosophy and pasta-making art: authenticity, freshness, tradition, simplicity, innovation and creativity. From art direction to shooting, from web design to copywriting, we created a browsing experience that simulates a journey of taste and flavour through Katj’s pantry, discovering its products, services, courses and opportunities for retailers.
The look&feel of the website is inspired by the new shop layout: colours, fonts and graphic elements have been carefully studied to create a consistent Brand experience throughout the consumer journey, from physical shop to digital pantry.
The graphic design has been enriched with illustrations that recall the encyclopaedic ones in old recipe books to convey the idea of handmade preparations typically created in the home kitchen and of domestic traditions handed down from generation to generation.
A story with an authentic flavour
The pictures show, on the one hand, the great care taken in the handling of raw materials and the preparation of the products and, on the other, the warm, familiar and joyful atmosphere that transpires in homes on Sunday mornings when eggs and flour are mixed.
