Digital tools for discovering surfaces
Arpa is an Italian company that has been designing and manufacturing high quality HPL technology panels for architecture, interior design, health care, shipbuilding, transport, hospitality, retail and kitchens since 1954.
The company turned to our agency to develop a set of digital and 3D tools to recreate the surfaces of their material range (decors/finishes) in an innovative way.
With the aim of creating an innovative and engaging communication tool, we designed an interactive 3D App that allows end users to immerse themselves in the collections, gather information and interact with the different products in Arpa’s catalogue.
An immersive experience in Arpa’s world
During the Milan Design Week, the App developed was used to create a physical-digital experience within the “De-Structura” installation dedicated to design freedom and creative expression.
Thanks to the immersive experience designed, it was possible for users to interact directly with the surfaces reproduced in 3D and projected onto a display that was in turn connected to the user's smartphone.
